Lana Hornberg
Lana Hornberg is originally from St. Petersburg, Russia. There she graduated
as a music teacher and in 1983, Lana began to work as an educator. In addition to the educational work, she performed as a pop singer.
In 1998, Lana started a company that worked mainly with musical theatre and
childrens theatre. The company arranged various productions, performances
and musicals.
Among other things she ran a project in 2003 where disabled children had to showcase their musical knowledge for the public. The project was called “Detlandia”, which can be translated into children’s country. That
same year, she also arranged the performance “Anya in Wonderland”. “Detlandia” was invited to the city of Savonlin in Finland where the small artists appeared with great success. Inspired by the work with the disabled children, Lana also attended training in social work and received a master’s degree in social work.
In 2005, Lana was invited to lead the art college in St. Petersburg where she engaged in the education of young artists. Most of her students are today successful artists in the music industry. In parallel with the work at Art College, Lana started a company with the same name as her Swedish company now has. The business idea was to arrange concert programs, musical competitions and festivals.
In 2011, she also established a company in Finland, Tähtitaival Oy, which hosted concerts and events around the EU countries, mainly in Germany
In 2011, Lana was one of the leaders in the “EUROTON” producer centre. There she worked actively with Eugene Glazov, Chief Executive Officer of the Kremlin Palace.
